Do board results affect the JEE?
Yes , your 12 board result is just like an eligibility criteria .
Those who are applied for this must have a 76 % aggregate .
Nothing more is needed in JEE but if you have a good percentage
then it surely helps you in some other senses.If you fail to get the
76% then dont worry so much, you can easily apply for the
improvement exam the link of the exam is available on official
website of CBSE. The minimum required percentage in PCB in 12th
to appear for the NEET examination i.e. Gen – 50%, OBC/SC/ST –
40%, PWD – 45%. Therefore Also give some time to your boards exam and don’t just ignore them completely because they also matter. If you want to go to research in the future they will matter.
