Should I take a drop to prepare for JEE again next year, or join an average NIT?

I got only 130 marks this year in JEE Mains, and I am very weak in Physics and Maths. I do not know if I should take a drop as it might mean I will waste another year and don’t get admission in IIT. Can someone please give me advice, I am very confused.

Hello there,
You should join an NIT if you’re getting a good branch like CS there. If not, you can opt for a drop and try again. :slightly_smiling_face:

Thank you for the answer, I faced the same dilemma myself and I chose Computer Science branch in VNIT, Nagpur. Hope I made the right decision.
