What is the KVPY, and is it helpful for students preparing for the NEET?
KVPY - Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana
As its name suggests , it’s for students who want to take up a
research career.
But the paper is from 11 and 12 syllabus . So it can be a good practice test that can give you an idea about a National level competitive exam before Neet. It also gives you a rough idea about where you stand among others based on your preparation till now.
It’ll also be a good backup plan if someone is not limiting his / her interest only to MBBS. If you want to take up other courses like Bsc in case you don’t get Mbbs . Then you should definitely give this paper. You’ll get a scholarship upto the pre PhD level if you get selected .
But it’s not necessary for a Neet aspirant . It depends on you whether you want to give or not.
