Yes, GRB Publications, Author: OP Tandon, Chemistry, are a set of good references for students preparing for any entrance exam.
They contain all the concepts in detail from the basics to the core. They give you a better understanding of every concept. And also the Brain Storming Questions and Objective Questions, given at the end of every chapter are very much helpful in analyzing and understanding the questioning pattern in various entrance exams.
However, the standard of the questions given in the books is a bit low compared to other references. If you are in the view of gaining concepts, these books would be the best, but if you need numerical and questions of greater standard, then this wouldn’t be of very great use.
If you need a greater view and a wide range of questions of all standards, then you should opt for Balaji Publications or Arihant, where you would find the maximum no. Of questions and minimum concepts.
But For learning the subject and gaining the concept I would suggest you go for OP Tandon, because once you are aware of the concept very well and know all the mechanisms and working principles you can answer any question effortlessly. Otherwise, you would have to mug up things and do something with them, which wouldn’t last for a very long time in your mind.
