There is no clear winner between JEE and BITSAT. But if you
have to choose one exam, choose JEE. The reason is quite simple.
JEE Main is the basic engineering exam. It will give you more
options - NITs, IIITs, GFTIs, private colleges, state colleges etc.
While only three colleges i.e. BITS Pilani, Goa and Hyderabad
accept BITSAT scores. JEE has two sessions. If your first attempt
doesn’t go well, you can prepare for the next one accordingly.

If you are diligently preparing for JEE, you can also take BITSAT.
Because these exams follow a similar syllabus.
JEE Preparation:
The JEE Advanced paper contains questions mainly from Physics,
Chemistry and Mathematics, so try to devote enough time and
practice to these topics.
While it is best to focus on JEE Advanced, it is equally important to
prepare for BITSAT as the syllabus of the exam includes not only
Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics but also English and Logical
Reasoning.
BITSAT Preparation:
Cracking BITSAT is all about technique and speed so try to practice
online mock tests, previous year papers and cover topics like English
and Logical Reasoning to score better in the exams.
You should devote at least 3 months to BITSAT, three months is
enough if you have a clear understanding of your basics and have a
solid foundation.
Try not to compare the two exams; instead focus on clearing the
basics to crack JEE Advanced so that you can score well in both JEE
and BITSAT.
