I have always felt that the 12th grade curriculum is a bit easier
than the 11th grade.
Using the word “Hard” would be highly overrated because nothing
in this world is hard. It’s either easy or easier.
Also, looking for something difficult to understand is a purely
relative term. I have seen students who could understand the most
complex topics very easily while facing difficulties in solving the
simplest of problems.
I have noticed that 11th class students face many difficulties. Once
they enter class 12th they say 12th is easy compared to 11th.

The main reason for this shift in thought can be discussed here -
● They didn’t go through rigorous training until 10th grade and
didn’t have a chance to solve such logical problems.
● Schools generally focus on achieving good results in all
subjects. Students are asked to cram concepts that they find a
little difficult.
● Schools focus more on the theoretical part and less on the
analytical part. They must also teach the student to write
correctly.
● Board exams have a fixed pattern and there is no change since
ages.
● The exam paper contains a set of questions that have been
asked in the last 10 years, which makes it even easier.
● The syllabus is constructed in such a way that the syllabus of
class 9 corresponds to class 11, while the syllabus of class 10
corresponds to class 12.
● In the 11th grade, it is difficult for students to connect past
knowledge with current knowledge.
During the one year preparation in 11th class they develop logical
thinking and when they enter 12th class they find that 12th syllabus
is too easy than 11th class. It can be said that 12th is easy in terms of
physics and chemistry.
