Are the NCERT and all the JEE Main PYQ enough to score 80+ in chemistry?
Yes NCERT and JEE Mains previous years question papers are enough to score 80+ in chemistry. Chemistry section of JEE main is not so difficult. Chemistry is very well written in NCERT books. If you analyse previous years question papers then you will find out that the difficulty level of chemistry in JEE Mains is moderate. In JEE mains chemistry many questions are asked directly from NCERT and you will get many memory based questions. Some questions are numerical and application based. If you talk to JEE toppers and take help from JEE mentors, they can guide you properly how you can use NCERT books properly. To secure that 80+ marks you need to read every line of NCERT book. Read the book thoroughly 3 to 4 times. Try to do practice NCERT Exemplars with that. While studying make notes. Then solve previous years question papers as much as you can.
