Biggest Mistakes to Avoid While NEET Preparation
Bche used to compare themselves with others .
Students used to leave in between the preparation thinking that they cannot do it
So these are the two biggest mistakes
No, having no friends at all is not something that I would recommend for a NEET aspirant.
You need someone of your age who can understand you and with whom you can share
emotions. You need folks with whom you can discuss important/ difficult questions. In
short, you need friends with whom a win-win situation is feasible.
However, Iād like to tell you to be extremely selective in making friends. Avoid pessimists and
toxic folks totally. Trust me, having even a single such close friend can be detrimental to
your preparation. As to insincere and lazy people from your class, say bye to such friends
from far away. No scope at all to be in the wrong company.
Also, avoid major interactions with students from Commerce and Arts streams. Not to be
rude to anyone, but the thinking and challenges would vary vastly from yours. Many of them
(not all) are insincere and carefree, and you certainly cannot afford to be in their company.
You can have 1 or 2 SINCERE friends from the Engineering stream (not more than 2) , just in
case you need a quick solution to your physics or chemistry questions, and to get your
hands on a few JEE questions.
During my NEET journey, I did meet up with my building friends (Commerce and engg. guys),
once a month. With school friends, the interaction was almost negligible.
Thus I hope my message is clear; having a close and small friends group is a
requirement. Humans are social animals. You would definitely need like-minded peers at
some point in your NEET preparation.
