Practice, consistency, and time are the most important things to secure good marks in IIT JEE. Contact with an IIT JEE topper that will be beneficial for you. You will get an idea of how they prepare themselves for IIT-JEE level. Yes one can get good rank in JEE with 5 months of hard preparation. But if someone has no knowledge about the chapters and topics then it is difficult to get good marks with 5 months of hard preparation. Because for cracking IIT JEE one need proper understanding of concepts. Go through previous years question papers as much as possible. And practise different types of problems. I would suggest you to take guidance from IIT JEE mentors. They will help you to improve your study plan and suggest to you what things you should include in your preparation and what things you should avoid.
