Can I clear JEE maths paper by just knowing the formulas?

This is one of the most famous questions which comes to mind for students when
they start their IIT JEE maths preparation.
We have always been taught from the beginning of our schooling that learning maths
formulas is very important and no doubt it is but what is wrong is only learning the formulas
and not practising it .
This may work in school as step marking is allowed or alloted in some of the schools but not
in IIT JEE .This is one of the toughest exams of the country for engineering and you need to
understand the seriousness of this exam .
Formulae solely cannot help you clear the exam but if used as a weapon in combination with
concepts can do wonders!
