How can I effectively prepare for IIT JEE?
Thorough preparation is the key to score well in JEE.
Know the inside: Know the exam from head to toe. What is the
required syllabus, eligibility, test dates, test patterns (if any), time
limits, number of questions, instructions and any other know-how
about the exam you are preparing for (JEE in your case).
Understand the structure of the exam: for example, how JEE
advanced differs from mains. Structure of Paper 1 and Paper 2 and
how they are organized at Advanced and Mains level.
Know the topics: Know the exact topics covered in each test and the
difficulty of the individual questions which are different in both the
tests. Below are just a few examples of topics you may encounter on
the test and are by no means definitive:
Physics: Kinematics, laws of motion, gravitation, thermodynamics,
electromagnetism, optics, electronic devices.
Chemistry: State of matter, atomic structure, redox reaction,
chemical kinetics, environmental chemistry, periodic groups, basic
principles of organic chemistry.
Mathematics: Quadratic equations, mathematical induction,
sequences and series, matrices, integral calculus, differential
equations, coordinate geometry.
Mock Tests: Appear for as many mock tests as you can. it is the
easiest and most effective method to evaluate yourself and gives you
valuable experience in preparation.
Past 30 Years Question Solutions: Another important resource for
applicants who want to clear JEE is past test questions. Unlike mock
tests that contain questions specifically for them, JEE question
papers contain the exact questions that have appeared in past exams,
making them a very valuable resource.

latest JEE FAQs. This can provide you with answers to frequently
asked questions about JEE, ensuring that you don’t have to waste
your precious study time looking for answers elsewhere.
Keep important notes up-to-date: Bookmark the bulletins or
checklist and remember to check them regularly. Eliminate your
personal distractions, regularly engage in good outdoor activity and
a healthy night’s sleep.
