How difficult is JEE main?

JEE main is not that much difficult but after qualifying in JEE main you will be able to attempt JEE Advanced that is considered one of the toughest examinations. But if you study hard with proper planning then it is not that difficult to qualify for JEE Main. Many students appear for this exam which makes this examination difficult and competitive. If you connect with JEE toppers they can guide you properly in the right direction. To crack JEE, clarity of basic concepts is required. Physics is one of the subjects where you need proper understanding of concepts. You apply them in different scenarios. For maths you need both theoretical and logical thinking abilities. In chemistry you will get many exceptions, mechanisms and reactions in organic part. And for inorganic chemistry you need memory power. Most of the JEE toppers and JEE experts suggest NCERT as many questions are asked directly to the exam from this book. Many experts say that studying NCERT and practising previous years question papers is enough to crack JEE Main.
