Organic chemistry can be mastered ONLY and ONLY if
you have clarity in GOC(General Organic chemistry) , the
chapter which governs the principals of reactions ,things like
what is a electrophile,nucleophile, acidity,basicity,
resonance, mesomeric effects.Enough to suggest that you
shouldn’t IGNORE this chapter.
So the first step is to master GOC, how can it be done now?
Get your concepts cleared by going through the theory
through notes, books or youtube videos, then solve a lot of
problems related to those topics.( MS Chauhan’s book is a
very good one to practice , you can also opt for your coaching
modules/sheets for practice.)
Now that you have mastered GOC move onto the important
reactions for JEE mains , what are they ;
Reactions related to aromatic compounds
Cannizaro and aldol reactions
Reactions related to DIBAL,LiAlH4
Reactions related to SN1,SN2,E1,E2

Oxidation and reduction reactions
These are some topics which are generally asked in JEE
mains organic , also GOC can alone give you 1–2 questions ,
also do not ignore the chapter related to reactions where
kjeldahl’ method has been mentioned in 11th chemistry ncert .
Doing all this will certainly give you very good marks in OC

To start and master organic chemistry from scratch for the next 2 months (JEE Mains), you can follow these steps:

  1. Study the NCERT textbook: Start with the NCERT textbook and make sure you have a clear understanding of the basic concepts.
  2. Focus on the fundamentals: Make sure you have a good understanding of the fundamental principles of organic chemistry, such as hybridization, isomerism, and reaction mechanisms.
  3. Practice problems: Solve practice problems regularly to test your understanding and identify areas that need improvement.
  4. Memorize important reactions: Organic chemistry is all about reactions, so make sure you memorize the important reactions thoroughly.
  5. Use study aids: Consider using study aids such as flashcards, mnemonics, or summary sheets to help you remember key information.
  6. Practice previous year papers: Solving previous year papers will help you understand the pattern of questions and the level of difficulty of the exam.
  7. Seek help: Don’t hesitate to seek help from your teacher or a tutor if you’re struggling with a particular topic.

In terms of time, it is difficult to estimate the exact amount of time it will take to complete the whole organic chemistry, as it varies from person to person based on their individual learning pace and style. However, dedicating 4-5 hours a day, along with consistent practice and focused effort, can help you make significant progress in 2 months.
