I am in standard 10 this year and I am planning to attempt the JEE in the future. How should I prepare?

Assuming by JEE you mean Jee advanced then, if you can
afford coaching courses then go for coaching and follow
everything they taught. But if you cannot go to coaching, buy jee
books such as arihant series or ceengage series and study by
yourself and solve more than 30 questions everyday. Since you
have to clear your concepts you can watch lecture videos from
Youtube also if you dont join any coaching institutes. And stay
attentive in class/coaching.
Also dont forget HCV for physics as it is the concept building
books and be 100% clear with class 9 and class 10 syllabus from
PCM. When you finished class 10, I recommend going coaching
courses as coaching helps in time management. Since Time
management is one of the most important factors in Jee, if you
dont join coaching institutes then you will have to study 8–12 hrs
by yourself. Avoid any major distractions
