Is it true that in JEE Mains, chemistry is asked from NCERT?

If you analyse previous years questions then will get that many questions are directly asked from NCERT books. Most JEE mentors and JEE toppers tell that NCERT is sufficient to clear JEE Mains. But it depends on you that you much score you are aiming to secure. You can take suggestions from recent JEE toppers. They will guide a proper way which are the important books to follow and how can you make your study plan more effective. The language of NCERT books is easy to understand and this book is basically designed for JEE examination. Start your preparation with NCERT books. Also these books cover the whole syllabus and are available in compact size. So you can complete the whole book easily. Include previous years question papers with NCERT. Try to solve as much as possible. But you will find some questions in JEE that are application based and conceptual. To solve this type of question you need logical thinking ability. So only by studying NCERT you will not be able to solve these types of questions.
