How many hours should I study to get a rank of under 200 in the JEE 2023?

Firstly, You are in 10th standard now. So, your first priority should be your 10th board exams, Give all your focus and consistency in it. You can start your JEE prepartions from 11th standard, as you will be able to develop a strong conceptual foundation for the exam.

Secondly, go thorough with NCERT and prepare notes for revision. Revision is important after the going through the chapters and spare 2–3 hours for solving questions.

Thirdly, 4 to 5 hours study starting form 11th class will be helpful for JEE. The study hours should be increased to 8 - 10 hours as the time for the JEE Mains approaches, say six months from the exam date.

Always be attentive in class. Whatever a teacher taught you in class, Must revise at the same day.

Practice questions as many as possible given back at the NCERT Textbooks. Also take help from PW JEE study material for class 11th & 12th.

Don’t Get distracted to any unusual distraction.

Studying hours does not have a hard and fast rules, few students study for 2 hours, few 4 hours. Important thing a student has to remember whenever you are studying, you should be completely into it. While studying chemistry topic, concentrate completely on that particular topic of chemistry, do not think about maths or physics during that time. Revision after the study is very important, keep 1 to 2 hours for solving questions which you have studied. So 4 to 5 hours study starting form 11th class will be helpful for JEE.

As the exam date approaches, say 6 months from the JEE Mains, the study hours need to be increased to 8 hours. Give more focus on revision and solving last year’s JEE Mains and Advanced question papers.
