organic chemistry for IIT JEE preparation?

The sequence and chapters/topics were revealed to me by a
personal JEE mentor. The ìit-JEE exam is one of the toughest exams
not only in India but in the world. Therefore before starting my
preparation I took a small mentorship from the Exprto rankers JEE
mentorship program. There I got to connect with recent JEE toppers
who gave me guidance on how to prepare, which resources to use
and many more things.
Connecting with recent JEE toppers will benefit you alot and you
will be way ahead then your competitors even before starting your
journey.
According to JEE toppers these are the topics to be followed in
organic chemistry iit JEE preparation.
IUPAC nomenclature (1/2 hour at max)
Isomerism (45 minutes at max)
Hydrocarbons(1 hour-Alkanes,1 hour- Alkenes,30 minutes-Alkynes)
Benzene and EAS(2 ~3 hours,be slow its an important chapter)
Alcohol, Phenols,Ethers(overall 2~2.5 hours).
Carbonyl compounds (6 ~ 7 hours overall)
Carboxylic Acids (2 hours)
The rest of Organic-(4 hours)
The time is only for completely learning the theory and learning the
mechanism perfectly. To solve sums, put in an Equal amount of what
you have studied.
So overall 48 hours of hardwork which effectively translates to 12
~15 days .
And looks quite consistent if we consider the fact that Jee Advanced
and mains have a gap of 1.5 months in between.
To know more about how to study you can take a session of the best
iit JEE mentorship program on https://www.exprto.com/. For
mechanisms I would suggest-Reactions, Rearrangements and
Reagents by S.N. Sanyal.
